Lots of stuff!

As you can see, the camera has been fixed! Woohoo! And the Class listings have been updated. And we've gotten in about 200 new skeins of yarn, some Jo Sharp and some new colors of Lopi and Lopi Lite and Broadway and Candy... More on the way!

Sheep Mittens, again

Ok, so I've really put off working on these, and I need to pick them up again, but I also have three other things going right now too that need to be finished! Um, make that four other things, or maybe it was 5?

Harrison's Sweater

I (finally!) finished the sleeve for Harrison's version of Green Mountain Spinnery's Roseary's Little Sweater in Mountain Mohair. Boy that's a mouthful...

A close up of the cable detail on the shouldars. This was a super fun pattern, watch for a class in this coming in October!

Gifted Mittens

I love the Gifted Mittens by Kate Gilbert! These were done in Wondrous Wool and Marvelous Mohair by Steadfast Fibers.

The Hat, part duex

To all those who say purple, teal, pea green, pink, orange, and electric blue can't go together...

I say HA! The Funky Hat is finished, and all 200-something elds are woven in. Yup, that's what I said after weaving in the ends...

Boat socks

One of our shop knitters whipped up some sailboat socks using a SweaterScapes pattern... lookie!

And a closer look at the sailboat. Is this lady incredible or what?!

The baby sock

We just finished up the Socks on 2 Circulars classes, and look at what we made!

And a closer look at the heel. We used short-row shaping/wrapped heels. We had a heck of a time avoiding holes, but I think we all got it in the end.

The really big felted bag

Words really fail to describe just how big this bag is...

So here's Andrew hiding behind the bag.

And hiding IN the bag!

Little update time

My camera is acting up, so it may be tomorrow until we get pictures up... what a week!

Let's start with Andrew. A boy. 13 years old. Taught 5 kids how to knit this week! and two moms got refresher courses! He's making some decent back-to-school money and has a decent knack for getting the point across. Plus the girls think he's cute :)

Finished items galore! The huge shop knitting bag is done and ready to be felted. More baby socks from the 2 circulars classes. Gifted Mittens in Wonderful Wool and Marvelous Mohair. And one of our talented shop knitters finished up some amazing sailboat socks from Sweaterscapes. You have to see these in person to really appreciate them fully...

New yarns too! We got in a glorious ribbon from Knit One, Crochet Too, and K1C2's Ambrosia, Alpaca, Silk, and... get this... cashmere. Oh yes, the droll is running for this stuff, so yummy!

Fall yarns

So our JCA/Reynolds sales rep came up to the shop today... Have I mentioned how much fun it is to spend mom's money on new yarns??

We got - a whole bunch more Lopi and Lopi Lite, with some great new colors. Expect to see the Wall O' Lopi move out to the front room come September, the better to spotlight the new colors!

Some new Jo Sharp, some new Artful, and some more patterns.

More merino kettle dyed than you can believe. Should be showing up in a few weeks, this stuff will knock your socks off!

And Knit One, Crochet Too, a Maine yarn company!

See mom's wallet smoldering! Be amazed at the new colorways arriving over the next month! Come Oh and Ah over all the new yarns! Hurry before I decide I can knit it all myself and try to hide it all so no one else can have any!
