We will be featuring a few sizes. First up is the Grade School set, with a 20 to 21 inch head size.
Materials -
size US 15 / 10mm needles, 16 inch circular and either another circ or a set of DPs for the top
1 skein King Cole Mega yarn - 80% acrylic, 20% wool
Cast on 40 sts. Join to form a circle and work 5 rows in 1x1 ribbing.
Rounds 1 to 9: Work even on 40 sts.
Round 10: *K3, K2tog* around.
Round 11: Work even on 32 sts.
Round 12: *K3, K2tog* around to last 2 sts, K2tog.
Round 13: Work even on 25 sts.
Round 14: *K2, K2tog* around to last st, K1.
Round 15: Work even on 19 sts.
Round 16: *K1, K2tog* around to last st, K1.
Round 17: Work even on 13 sts.
Round 18: K2tog to last 3 sts, K3tog.
Round 19: Work even on 6 sts.
Round 20: K2tog around.
Finish off here, or work Icord for 3 inches, end off and tie into a knot to make a Hat Remover Handle.
